The Problem
Commercial and open-source solutions only provide ‘parts’ of the entire solution, and not all the data necessary for a practitioner to make recommendations, and organizations to implement them. Additionally, most tools are cost prohibitive for small to medium sized businesses, leaving them vulnerable to attackers. Additionally, most scanners are all slightly different versions of the same scanner, Nessus, which was created in 1998. There hasn’t been a radical rewrite of an EASM solution code base until now. While other organizations put a special ‘spin’ on their products, they are still just adding to a 35-year-old core.
